The Datatron CP series engine monitor will alert the operator and if desired, shut down an engine on detection of a fault condition.

It incorporates engine monitoring capability, such as:
Loss of oil pressure
High temperature
Loss of charge
Low coolant

The Datatron CP series engine monitor also has two optional monitor points, to allow additional monitoring of other systems, for example:

• high transmission oil temperature
• low hydraulic pressure

It also incorporates an easy recall feature to allow recalling of stored fault conditions for later diagnosis.

A compact easy to install electronic monitor system designed to stop an unattended diesel or petrol engine in the event of loss of oil pressure or high temperature.

The system consists of electrical sensor switches attached to the engine, and wired to a small control unit which in turn operates an electrical solenoid to shut down the engine.

A built in time delay which bypasses the engine sensors, allows the engine to be started automatically, thus eliminating the need for a manual "start run" switch.
